How to use hat size charts
1. Measure your head
Wrap a soft tape about 1/8" above your eyebrows and ears. Note inches or centimeters—this is your head circumference.
2. Pick the right chart
Use fitted for structured caps, cowboy for Western hats, crochet for stretchy beanies, or universal if you are unsure.
3. Match inches or cm
Find your circumference row, then read US fitted (e.g. 7 1/4), UK, EU, or letter size on the same line.
4. Between two sizes?
Size up for rigid hats. Snapbacks and Flexfit-style stretch bands give more forgiveness—see our snapback vs fitted guide.
